Our building required full exterior painting (wood trim, stucco, Hardie board, as well as garage doors & front entry doors), caulking work and wood repairs. We chose Husky Team Painting over 3 other companies primarily due to their pricing, terms & warranty. A key fact was that Husky would use their own workers rather than sub-contract services.

Son, the owner/director was involved with every step in the process. When any issue came up, he offered solutions and options for the best result. This is absolutely refreshing when dealing with a trade. Most of the time, trades will offer the easiest way out so they can get to the next job. This is not the case with Husky. They will do a good job no matter what, period.

Son is also careful about who he hires. I dealt with his foreman Hao on several occasions and he was also extremely pleasant to deal with.

At the end of our painting project, we had some minor deficiencies and Husky made sure that all of them (no matter how small) were taken care of.

I can confidently say that I will be recommending Husky Team Painting for any future exterior/interior paint or carpentry related jobs.

It’s my good fortune to write a reference letter, on behalf of the owners of Arbutus Place, for Husky Team Painting Limited. As an individual homeowner it’s not an easy task to choose a painting company but even more challenging when it’s a decision you’re making on behalf of forty-three owners. We are a 22 detached home complex with challenging rooflines in a fairly condensed neighbourhood. Husky was capable of dealing with everything thrown at them. They maneuvered rooflines with ease using a Genie boom and ladders while making sure to mask everything required to ensure there was no overspray onto cars, shrubs etc. Any questions or concerns were quickly dealt with and consideration was given to the owner’s personal space while on site.

Husky Team Painting was the successful bidder for one of the MVHC painting projects that happened this summer at London Square in New Westminster. London Square is one of the MVHC properties that provides rental townhouses for families with low income. The communication was great, the project went well with no issues or deficiencies and the working staff was very careful in protecting the common area and the tenants’ belongings.
